Driller — Business Audit Governing the Fabrication of Underground Mining Equipment

Plant operations and business strategy assessment for a global mining interest. Work audited 4 manufacturing locations across North America in which hard-rock mining equipment and robotics were being custom-designed and built.

Periscope — Country Risk Assessment

A copper mining conglomerate with worldwide interests required a detailed situation assessment supporting expansion into Peru. The board-level presentation measured—political risks, military stability, monetary conditions, fiscal and regulatory risk. SBR’s country risk and offshore lobby practice is especially active in CALA and AS-PAC.

LIT-Igate — Litigation Support

The design, construction, and installation of a computerized litigation management support system for one of North America’s largest and best known mining disputes. Work included coding sheets, customized data input screens and the examination of 40,000 documents. System courseware for lead litigation staff and outside legal counsel was also developed.

Walk Talk — Validation & Conversion of Finance Functional Strategy into Tactical Framework

A major international mining company required assistance with strategy implementation. Deliverables included—shakedown and prioritization of specific initiatives, business case positioning of key tactical initiatives, internal roadshow presentation and communication plan (exec-level, finance internal), project planning of 1st-tier initiatives.
