Wart Hog — Industry Research

One of North America's largest steel suppliers required intelligence on select North American interests to ascertain asset quality, financial stability, strategic fit. SBR was tasked to obtain intelligence on possible acquisition targets. Information included company profiles, asset mix, market placement, facility characteristics such as capacity and layout, management dynamics.

Stage-Freight — Freight Analysis

A leading manufacturer of packaging systems sought to rationalize logistics and realize significant savings on freight and shipping. SBR provided necessary data sets and assessed over 500 SKUs, shipped to 850 customers, across 1500 locations. Recommendations to rationalize shipments were advanced under a prioritized framework.

Wraptor — Business Turnaround Support

A major Canadian packaging firm needed ad hoc, multidisciplinary support. SBR captured and validated key business correctives within major issue rosters, and provided a means of validating and accommodating resource requirements. SBR delivered just-in-time resourcing to overcome choke points and increase resource flexibility. Working closely with management, a four-week blitz delivered a 100-page strategic plan with 18 turnaround priorities. Subsequent recruiting support was also provided.
