Subsequent production of high-level process maps led to 11 high-impact initiatives and 155 recommendations with implementation plans. 5 tools and templates were also designed to standardize knowledge transfer points. A high-level situation analysis was written detailing the state of change emphasizing leadership, cultural, organizational and technology issues. Implementation plans were developed for each functional area in 3-, 6- and 12-month increments, providing a modular handoff to each director to implement recommendations within their area. Map-checker — Gap Analysis and Process MappingA worldwide hotel and resorts chain contracted SBR to perform a gap analysis to determine deviation from an ideal future state outlined in an existing strategic plan. Over the course of a 60-day project cycle, the SBR team audited process maps and conducted detailed analysis of the previous strategy identifying gaps in major processes, and documenting current state in a Standard Operating Procedures Manual. SBR prepared an executive-level presentation providing current and future state process maps with corresponding implementation plans and 80+ recommendations governing go-forward options and strategy development. |
